Name Change Embraces Future

To signify its unwavering commitment to the state’s senior residents, the Michigan Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (MAHSA) changed its name to Aging Services of Michigan effective Feb. 2, 2009. Established in 1968, the Association represents the state’s not-for-profit senior housing, services and care providers. Members include home and community-based services, government subsidized and market rate housing, assisted living, homes for the aged, adult foster care, county medical care facilities, hospital long-term care units and nursing homes.
