About Us

Founded in 1968, Aging Services of Michigan represents the mission-based providers of housing, services and care for seniors across Michigan. We proudly represent our membership as the only statewide association representing the full array of aging services.

Aging Services of Michigan members are sponsored by religious, ethnic, fraternal, governmental and other not-for profit organizations that annually contribute to charitable care for those we they serve. Members include home and community-based services, home health and hospice care, senior housing, assisted living, homes for the aged, county medical care facilities, hospital long-term care units and nursing homes.  With more than 230 members providing services across the state, Aging Services of Michigan leads the state with innovative service alternatives, such as: Continuing Care Retirement Communities, Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities, Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, and the small house or greenhouse styles of living.

Aging Services of Michigan is proud of a robust membership with more than 15 percent providing aging services for more than 100 years.
